Growing up in Germany and living in Zürich, Switzerland since 2013, he has always been a curious person with a thirst for knowledge and connecting different  science disciplines. Through his experiences and stays in different cultures and through his various educational paths, he  accumulated many different perspectives and expertise. Privately, he is  also living a very varied life which is reflected in his various activities like reading and passing quiet moments in nature as well as cooking, surfing or dancing at electronic music parties.
Professionally, he has worked for several years as a coach and health consultant, in addition to various positions as a medical doctor, especially for psychiatry and psychotherapy but also for orthomolecular medicine. In 2020, shortly after  founding the surf your life Institute he was diagnosed with  the Long Covid Syndrome. In hindsight, this most difficult time in his life has certainly taught him some of the most important lessons in his life. His own experiences are therefore also reflected in the surf your life philosophy, following the quote of John Kabat Zinn.

"You can't stop the waves,
but you can learn how to surf."

Strengthened by these experiences, he would now like to pass on his knowledge in the Surf your Life Agency.

Due to my many years as a doctor, his knowledge of functional medicine, psychotherapy, alternative healing methods such as Ayurveda, nutritional science or biohacking and digital healthcare naturally flow in addition to his personal experience. He combines his knowledge in science with his work experiences in consulting and developing solutions for different companies or  wellbeing institutions.

“In the surf your life concepts, many different solutions have their place. The focus is not on one method, but on the individual customer. For me, the right balance and individual selection of  proven naturalistic and complementary methods with the latest technologies such as wearables, AI or modern scientific results from psychology and complexity research is the only reasonable way for a successful approach in the wellness and health industry. I therefore try to learn from healers as well as from healthcare algorithm developers to bridge the gap between different cultures and mindsets."
